SUMMARY:ISRII Webinar: Publishing in Internet Interventions
DESCRIPTION:ISRII Webinar: Publishing in Internet Interventions\n4pm CET (10am US Eastern)\, Tuesday 17 November\, 2026\nWe’re pleased to invite you to an upcoming ISRII webinar on publishing in Internet Interventions\, presented by Dr. Per Carlbring and hosted by Dr. Nick Titov. \nThis session is designed for anyone preparing a submission to the journal\, and will cover the practical realities of the editorial process from first draft to final decision. \nBy the end of this webinar\, participants will be able to: \n\nJudge fit and format – Determine whether a study fits the scope of Internet Interventions and choose the right article type\, ranging from a 6\,000-word original paper down to an 800-word letter to the editor. \nUnderstand the editorial journey – Describe what happens to a submission inside the editorial office\, including the editors’ initial assessment of suitability\, single anonymized review by a minimum of two reviewers\, and the editors’ final decision – plus what most often sinks a manuscript before it ever reaches a reviewer. \nApply the journal’s generative AI policy – Understand the required declaration authors must add before the reference list\, why an AI tool can never be listed as an author\, authors’ responsibility for AI-generated references that may be inaccurate or fabricated\, and the corresponding rule for editors and reviewers\, who may not upload an unpublished manuscript into a generative AI tool.\n\nWe look forward to seeing you there. \nCost: FreeLocation: Online (Zoom) Register Now!

SUMMARY:ISRII Webinar: Learning Participatory Co-Design from Youth
DESCRIPTION:ISRII Webinar\nLearning Participatory Co-Design from Youth: Lessons from The Road Ahead\, a Youth-Led Video Game\nDecember 7\, 2026 | 5:00 PM EST | Zoom\nThe Road Ahead is a narrative-focused video game exploring the nuanced experiences of well-being\, distress\, and rehabilitation among youth seeking to overcome social isolation through resilience and hope. The game is entirely designed and produced by youth\, for youth. \nThis webinar will present the project with a focus on youth advisory members’ participation and how the project evolved over time. A youth member turned mentor will share their experiences participating in the project and the workflows they developed\, highlighting their growing sense of project ownership and leadership. The project lead and the founding researcher will reflect on the beginnings of the project and highlight features of the platform currently in development\, designed to accommodate and support the involvement of future youth members in the project. \nUsing a participatory co-design methodology\, members of the youth advisory group and researchers share decision-making throughout the research process\, including determining activities and methods\, and establishing directions for future co-design activities. This methodology is embedded within a theoretical framework describing the system of activities through which youth can develop the skills and agency needed to guide and control the production of video games. \nCost: Free for members; $25 USD for non-membersLocation: Online (Zoom)Date & Time:Monday 7  December  5:00PM (New York)Monday 7 December 2:00PM (Irvine)Monday 7 December 7:00PM (Buenos Aires)Monday 7 December 10:00PM (London)Tuesday 8 December 9:00AM (Sydney) Register Now!(opens in new tab) \nSpeakers \nCorina Lazarenco\, B.A.Gaming Against Stigma Youth Advisory Group Manuela FerrariResearcher\, Douglas Research Centre;Assistant Professor\, Department of Psychiatry\, McGill University Trent PowellSoftware and Game Developer\, Ludic Mind Studio \nISRII members attend webinars at no cost.
