ISRII Special Interest Groups

Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) within ISRII provide focused platforms for learning and networking. The I-SIG highlights global examples of successful digital and internet interventions, featuring webinars with expert presentations and interactive Q&A sessions. The SIG for Early-Mid Career Researchers (EMCR) supports emerging professionals by fostering connections, promoting visibility, and offering career development opportunities in e-Health research. Both SIGs aim to enhance knowledge sharing and professional growth within the ISRII community.

Implementation Special Interest Group

The ISRII I-SIG aims to showcase examples of implementation of high-quality digital/internet interventions from around the world. This is a wonderful opportunity for people to learn from other ISRII members about what has worked and what hasn't when implementing research into practice.

Each I-SIG Webinar includes presentations from invited speakers and time for a Q&A.

The first I-SIG Webinar was held in September 2023, the second was held in March 2024, and an I-SIG Discussion Panel was one of the sessions at the ISRII-12 Conference held in Limerick, Ireland in June of 2024.

The next I-SIG Webinar will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024. Click here to get more information.

Early-Mid Career Researchers SIG

The ISRII board members, Emily Lattie and Anna-Carlotta Zarski, along with their colleagues on the board, are delighted to announce the establishment of the ISRII Special Interest Group for Early-Mid Career Researchers (SIG EMCR).

In this regard, Janika Thielecke, Eoin Grua, and Camilla Babbage have been appointed as founding officers for the next 12 months. Their role involves actively supporting the initiation of SIG EMCR activities. The SIG EMCR's mission is to connect and support EMCRs interested in research and implementation of internet interventions by helping to build and foster connections within ISRII, promote visibility of EMCRs in the community, and provide information and experience for career paths in e-Health.

Look out for the announcements of EMCR activities coming soon and register for the SIG EMCR by clicking here.
