    Hello ISRII Members,

As a fellow IRSII member, I wanted to let you know about an opportunity at UCSF that might interest you:

The PRISM Health Symposium returns Dec 8, 2017 at UCSF Mission Bay campus

The Promoting Research in Social Media and Health (PRISM Health) Symposium is the first and only scientific meeting to focus on social media and health-related research. Last year’s meeting focused on methodological approaches, case studies, and works-in-progress within this richly multidisciplinary field of work. This year, we will discuss topics at the forefront of this research, including ethics, how to get funded and published, and collaboration with industry.

Let us know that you’re attending this year’s symposium by completing your required preliminary registration at tinyurl.com/PRISMHealth.

After you have completed your registration survey, we will release payment details. Entry fee includes breakfast, lunch, happy hour offerings, and take-home materials.
    $100 Professional Entry
    $50 Student Entry

**if you have are unable to cover the cost of registration but still want to attend PRISM, please contact Kate Radcliffe kate.radcliffe@ucsf.edu for financial assistance options.

    What’s in store?

Ethics: lessons learned from navigating IRBs, recruitment, and privacy, led by leaders in social media and health research.
Rapid Fire Presentations: participants are invited to share works-in-progress or unfunded ideas and get immediate feedback from an interdisciplinary expert audience; truly a one-of-a-kind opportunity!
External Stakeholders Panel: hear industry and patient perspectives in social media and health research and learn how to foster collaboration.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
