Growing a community of researchers with the skills needed to conduct research that increases equity and has real-world impact.
Engagement
Increase representation and collaboration across disciplines, geography, and historically minoritized identity groups/communities to foster equity.
Implementation
Partner with ISRII leadership and other stakeholders to create sustainable, equity-oriented actions, policies, and practices.
Initial Interest
The intended SIG was signaled at the ISRII12 General Meeting and 23 persons attended an open meeting. The group agreed that it would be valuable to grow a SIG and actions in this area. Seven people attended a follow-up online meeting and committed to developing the SIG.
