ISRII 13th Scientific Meeting (2025)

Advancing Equity in Digital Interventions Across the Lifespan

August 4–7, 2025 • University of San Diego, San Diego, California

The 13th Scientific Meeting of the International Society for Research on Internet Interventions (ISRII) convened from August 4 to 7, 2025, on the beautiful campus of the University of San Diego. The meeting brought together an international community of leading experts in digital health, behavioral science, and technology to explore groundbreaking advancements, share cutting-edge research, and shape the future of internet-based interventions.

Pre-Conference Workshops

Half-day workshops took place on Monday, August 4:

  • Morning (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM): “Incorporating Human-Centered Design Methods in Research” and “Introduction to AI & Machine Learning for Mental Health.”
  • Afternoon (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM): “The ABCs of LLMs: Designing and Integrating AI Chatbots for Digital Mental Health Interventions” and “Designing sophisticated and interactive digital interventions, without coding and at little to no cost: The Computerized Intervention Authoring System v. 3.0.”

Poster Sessions & Demonstrations

Poster presentations were held across three sessions:

  • Session I: Tuesday, August 5, 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
  • Session II: Tuesday, August 5, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
  • Session III: Wednesday, August 6, 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM

A wide variety of research was showcased, from AI-supported mental health tools to digital interventions across diverse populations. 

Interactive demonstrations also took place alongside poster sessions, providing hands-on experiences with emerging interventions and technologies.

Keynote Speakers

The meeting featured an outstanding lineup of keynote speakers who are leaders in AI applications, culturally adaptive digital interventions, and youth mental health. Their contributions anchored the meeting’s theme of advancing equity across the lifespan.
