Hi Pepijn!
Thank your for your question.
Unfortunately, I have no experienece at all with eating in such “large” groups. I usually go in groups of 2-4 people. If you are picky about your venue, I’d say reserveations for groups of 4 or more are strongly advised.
With regard to your scenario, I´d say it´s probably possible to find something after all, most likely in the more touristy areas and hotel restaurants. However, I am only guessing here, sorry.

Berlin food stories is my favorite food blog and I tested its’ credebility plenty of times, I was never disapointed.
Johannes LafertonParticipantI am not that big on sight seeing recomendation but two come to mind:
– take a walk from Hackescher Markt to Museums Insel to Berliner Dom follow Unter den Linden to Brandenburger Tor and Holocaust Memorial and the Reichstagsgebäude
– Eastside Gallery (Artists painted on a part of the Berlin wall)Johannes LafertonParticipantI am not an expert on Bratwurst but konnopke is one of the most renown. Gerhard Schröder (former German Chancelor) used to get his Bratwurst there:
https://www.konnopke-imbiss.de/deIt is also not far from Mauerpark (used to be Part of the Berlin wall, now a recreational area with flea market every sunday, including loads of musicians and artists around.
I am not that big on “traditional” german beer halls in Berlin, but thats proabbly because of my Bavarian heritage, that let`s me avoid any non Bavarain beer halls. You might want to check out Pratergarten a nice Biergarten (“outside beer hall”)
or SchleusenkrugJohannes LafertonParticipantlooking for the best Döner in Berlin, check this out:
